Starting in July 2011…
Swan for Life Cancer Foundation presents a six week program offered once a month on survivorship to address the mind, body and spirit as an integrative approach to cancer treatment. Having cancer does not mean that we cannot be well. This 6 session educational series will help you on the path to achieving a healthy balance for living beyond cancer.
July 19, 2011 - Session I - Intro to Group Process, Wellness and Mind-Body Introduction*
August 17, 2011 – Session II - Guided imagery and Hypnosis*
September 21, 2011 - Session III - Aroma and Music Therapy*
October 19, 2011 - Session IV - Art Therapy**
November 16, 2011 - Session V - Spirituality**
December 21, 2011 - Session VI - Wellness Screenings**
*First three sessions to be held at:
Great Lakes Cancer Institute, 5680 Bow Pointe Drive, Conference Room, Clarkston, 48346
**Last three sessions to be held at:
Karmanos-Crittenton Cancer Center, 1901 Star Batt Drive, Conference Room, Rochester Hills, 48309
Sessions Run 6:00 to 8:00 pm
